A question about a discrepancy in the effect of Children's Creche:

When I bring up the Datalinks entry on Children's creche, it states that it gives +2 to Efficiency.
I have looked up Children's Creche on at least three info sites, and they all state that Children's Creche gives only +1 to Efficiency.

Q: Is the Datalinks entry incorrect, or does it actually give +2?

And I do not know how to tell by looking at the base screen (if you don't know the answer, then maybe someone could give me a hard and fast test to try).

I dont really remember, perhaps it was changed in Crossfire?

But the games i played most after Alpha Centauri are the Galciv series, so, after playing those, i am totally accustomed to things not doing what the game says they do..... Galciv 'desensitized' me too it!! lol

Build CC's in bases large and small, note how much economy is lost to inefficiency, then scrap and recycle the CC and check out the difference.

I think what you see is that the efficiency effect is greater the more economy is generated (and lost). So if you have a base with 24 econ, and 18 is lost because it's so far from the headquarters, then a CC might restore 3 or 4 econ. A smaller base that is only losing a couple to inefficiency might only gain one of them back.
Are you sure you are not using a faction or government with an efficiency negative?
