I'm useing an HP Pavilion laptop with Windows 7 OS. Alpha Centuri won't statrt up. Ii jus blinks once and thats it. I've tried all the fixes on GoG support page and some of the posts suggestions here. I' m really wantng to play this game but can't figure out what to do. Thanks for thw help in advance,

Mart_ib: I have the same problem, and incidentally the same laptop. Please help!
Try all of these:
1: Crash on startup - terran.exe has stopped working
2: Both SMAC & SMAX crash when I left click on any tile
3: Terran.exe application error

If not, I'll try to think of something else.
