I noticed that Shovel Knight recently got an update on all of the other platforms (or will soon), however, it appears that GOG is exculded from said updates, and I'm wondering if there will be an update coming to GOG, or if this is all that we'll get here. If so, I'll have to buy it elsewhere as well before the price goes up.

The latest version is 2.4, which is on GOG. Specter of Torment/3.0 isn't out on any platform yet.

Strangely, the price has already increased dramatically, and the description was already changed, while all platforms beside Nintendo Switch will have to wait until April...

Except for Linux. The download page lists 3.0A, but when you download it it's actually 2.2.1

Is this a bug? Will the Linux version be updated at all?

I have the Linux version from here and have definitely played Plague of Shadows, which was first available in version 3.0, so a version at least 3.0 is necessarily available for Linux.
