The save file for the Windows version is located here:

C:\Users\"Your_Username"\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\53835151161532868\Storage\Shared\Files

Thank you. :-)

How can one find it out all by himself?

You're welcome. :)

If a save file isn't located in the usual folders, I'm always looking inside the GOG.com folder in AppData\Local.
The long number is the client ID of the game. You can always find the right number inside the goggame-xxxxxxxxxx.info file located in the installation folder of the game. Look at the attached screenshot.

Not there for me .
Not solved in Win11 july 9 2024. I have two old folders there one has the folders down to File, bit it is empty.
If look at User file under Storage, I see a new folder for today with a long numeric name. It has storage.db, that I cannot edit.

Ok the galaxy page with the PLAY button has a icon next to it that has a drop down list. On that list you can select open file and then see the saves, whew.

Try SQLite to manipulate the .db file.
