this was one of my all-time favorite multiplayer games back in the day... does anyone know if the MP works in the GOG version? if it does, i think i may have to talk a bunch of my friends into getting it :)

Believe it or not I have this game in my collection along with the Owner’s Manual. According to the manual there is multiplayer available but back in '96 you could only use IPX/ SPX for LAN gaming. So here is to hoping that GOG changed the code so that TCP/ IP can be used in it's place.
I plan to buy this game regardless since it was one of the few that could stand next to the famed Mech Warrior games at that time.

ahh thats right, i remember now... we used kali to play over the internet... i guess its time to fire up hamachi :) this game was fantastic as a multiplayer game, and hopefully i can infect a few of my old gaming crew with enough nostalgia to pick it up so we can play again...

For me it crashes while searching for multiplayer games, but I'm running it under Vista x64 where there is no IPX/SPX support, so that might be the problem, or not.
