Any tips on how to play this game? I'm an old MechWarrior gamer, and I just can't seem to do well on these missions. I have a hard time killing just about anything. Seems I dump all my rockets into a single ant-mech and then unload a ton of laser blasts and it takes forever to kill it. Then I'm basically out of ammo for the rest of the mission and try to run around while the lasers recharge.
I must be missing something...

Like MechWarrior, you can destroy parts of most mechs. It's much more efficient to blow their legs off so they fall over and explode. Also, you can destroy the heads. A headless mech will stumble around aimlessly, unable to attack. You can finish it off later, when you have some time.

The collision detection wasn't great, so those early two-legged things you see? A lot of your shots are going through them. Aim for leg joints and fire missiles into the ground not into the Runner.
Chain guns are better than lasers, switch as soon as you get the chance.

what type of games do you usually play?!
Anyways this sounds mighty fun I must play this someday.
(By the way ZamFear you a fan of serious Sci-Fi eh judging from the avatar.)
