Did anyone notice how in Dragonfall modern swearing is used, instead of Shadowrun universe slang?

Maybe someone could make a mod..?
:) I haven't played Dragonfall, just getting used to SR slang which I really like.
Maybe because different mentality in Berlin than Seattle? I mean, not all shadowrunner subcultures can operate socially the same way.

That and, from what I can gather, the slang was never meant to fully replace our slang, but supplement it. "Frag" seems to be used in SRR as an alternative to "fuck", which the devs might have worried might scare off a few buyers. In DF, that concern seems to have been disproved, and now "frag" is back to being used in what seems to be the way it's usually used in SR, namely as a term referring to killing someone (ex: "Let's frag this bastard quickly so we can get Mr. Johnson to pay us").

Given that it's set in Berlin, any of those standard 'slang' words would probably be replaced by a German analogue anyway.
Good point. There is German books though, wonder what word they use.
Interesting catch. I started with Dragonfall because the reviews said it's the place to be, but I find it oddly reassuring that "frag" is being used in a more precise way instead of as an empty word a la "fracking cylons"...
