Does anyone know if there are consequences of any kind for choosing one or the other path to the freaking out Tsang on Tsang conflict?

The one path is taken by the fleeing spirit in the room past the Quickness 6 test to wipe out Tsang forces before they massacre the civvies, but then there's the option to go through the other path cutting through more Tsang forces about to massacre some (slightly more toxic) civvies, and I can't seem to figure out whether it matters which route you take.

What changes, in options available to you or later dialogue or w/e? If nothing does, what was the point of setting up two doors into the next area with two different types of enemy to distract you one way or the other? It seems like one should've led you into some kind of spirit showdown where the other leads you to the Tsang on Tsang situation, but nothing seems different.
As far as I can tell there is no difference other than an extra battle or two. It's probably best just to take that immediate door.

Agree. Trying to free *crazy* brain-washed/toxic (you name it) civilians which you can't see without investing much in biotech (totally worthless) proved to be stupid time wasting with no karma bonus. Even that I haven't spend any extra on grenades or loose any health in my team I felt betrayed by writers who didn't know what they are really doing.

I suggest you try the spirit door and tell us what you get.
