I've recently purchased Dragonfall and installed it with the original game and latest patches. And when I start a new game with the Dragonfall storyline it loads then stay in a black screen with background music and it stays that way simply. I click and button-mach the keyboard and still nothing. the only thing that works is the Ecs button which bring me back to the main menu. And I've repeated this more than half a dozen of time and I'm sick of it. So now I ask "Please help me with this annoying problem".

Sent a support ticket? The game adores locking up at the load screen whenever I go to Kreuzbasar, but it's usually fixed if I exit the game and try it again.

Well I've tried what you suggested, and no go. The only thing that shows up is the mouse icon and that it. Thanks anyway.

Yeah you'll probably just have to do support. Be sure to send them the DxDiag so they can rule out basic issues with your computer. Worst case scenario you could just uninstall (keep saves) and reinstall.
