It is turn based, using only 2 mouse buttons and mouse scroll so what is there to customize? No micro needed, no shortcuts tho (ofc You can use 1-9 for dialog options but mostly it does not matter what You'll choose) and optinally move camera using arrows or WASD but it is till more comfortable to do with holding RMB.

Basically what Skladzien said. When you revisit your friends place ask him if its ok if you fiddle around with the game for an hour; you'll see quickly that a keyboard is not really used there (outside of entering passwords).

Yeah, I played with it for a while... I feel really uncomfortable when moving the camera, my hand keeps automatically going back to my usual setup.

Not a huge deal anyway, but still annoying and I would have really liked a key customization. Guess there isn't even an .ini file.
