hello guys,

by any change, have anyone of you GOG patch number 2 somewhere on your hard drives?
i have installation 2.0.0.1, patch 2.0.2.3, so i miss 2.0.1.2 propably. its for the original version, not the Extended Edition.

also i try to find missing patches for Dead State, original version, not the Reanimated.
i have game installation 2.0.0.1, then patch 2.0.2.3 and 2.0.4.5, so i assume i miss those which ends with 2 and 4.
2.0.x.2 and 2.0.x.4. in this regard, GOG is horrible with patching if you ask me... you miss something and then you have to redownload whole game.

thx if anyone got those and can share them somewhere.

Yeah it's getting pretty annoying. I don't like to be all tin foil hat about it, but I think it's a not so subtle push for people to use Galaxy.

I can't help you with said patches, but I think your best bet is to make a support ticket and ask for the patches you need.

If enough people do that maybe they'll get around to making a patch archive available from the library.

GOG has been doing this since before they even thought of Galaxy. Though it is a stupid policy.
I think this policy is to urge the low-power users to do a fresh download and re-install rather than attempt a long chain of patches that they might mess up. This decreases the workload on their support staff.

To high-power users it is an annoyance, as you suggest.

Yeah they always have cleaned up the old patches after updating the full installers.

However I don't remember it being quite so harsh with old patches disappearing instantly. Maybe it's just a side effect of the full installers being updated much more often than they used to be.
