A friend of mine who purchased this on Steam said her version was 1.02. If that's the case, can we expect at least gold, and perhaps 1.02, soon?

Yes soon. That Steam version just has Steam achievements. However I've made a few tweaks/fixes since launch and will be sendng a new version to Steam/GOG/Humble.

14 days and still not here yet? Steam is at 1.05 now... times like this I regret buying games on GOG

We sent it to GOG last week but they have to manually set it live wheras on Steam we have direct control of that. They are probably on holiday and will get to it soon.
