This is only sort of a joke. I'm running fairly robust Asus Zephyrus (Specs below) 14", and every time I load up either of the Shadow Warrior games they play like butter: super smooth, great graphics and frame rate, not the slightest hint of stuttering... and the top of my computer gets literally hot enough to burn my fingers WHILE IT IS SITTING ON A COOLING FAN!

Has anyone else experienced this? Horizon Zero Dawn was released a couple years ago and it warms up my computer a bit, but NOTHING like SW1 or SW2 does. I don't want to even play those because of the chance of damage to my computer.

I AM RUNNING:

AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS with Radeon Graphics 3.00GHz
16GB installed RAM
Windows 10 Home
Version 22H2
Installed on ‎6/‎21/‎2020
OS build 19045.2364
Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0

(My computer is an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14.)

Sounds to me you're running those games without a framerate cap active. Have you tried limiting the framerate?

I have not. As a novice gamer I'm not sure how to do that. I can use the NVIDIA settings to change from performance to cooling, now that I think about it. I might try that. Thank you!

Been traveling and haven't had a chance to try this yet, but I wanted to say thanks again. Happy New Year!
