its trying to make me download 14 GB's too for the patch. its like its skipping actually downloading the patch and trying to make me download the full game install with the patch integrated into it or something. also in the backup and goodies section its listed as 1.0.6 (gog-4).

would be nice just to get the patch, it took me 10 hours to download the game the 1st time.
unless im missing something feel free to correct me.

This is why i stoppe dusing Galaxy a year ago. because it was doing crap like this and i'm so glad i read your post before i downloaded it again for Multiplayer. Galaxy needs much much work, guess i'll try it in a year or 2. Feel as if they arent moving fast enough on this API. This thing gets updated like once or maybe 2x a year. What gives Gog?
Until now I only bought older games on GOG, the most recent being Shadow Warrior 2013. How do you get patches for your game if you bought a new game like Shadow Warrior 2? Just wanna know in case I decide to buy it before it's on sale.

Catrhis: Second bug is with that handgun that look like a desert eagle, i remember it has 12 clip. When improved with frost, not sure if it do it with other elements, the gun unequip itself after firing one shot and refuse to shot again, only by keeping the iron sight mode active i can use that gun reliably, otherwise it just...unequip
Started to happen to me too. The pistol is the "Swift & Messon" (they really worked on the names xD ) and it actually looks like an M1911. I think I've added fire properties, and yes, if you don't zoom in after firing once it just disappears from your POV.

It also crashed once in a coop game, but apart from these, the game is totally enjoyable.

I dont even know why we gotta ask for this. I was so confused as to where the patch is. Now i find out, they expect us to reinstall the WHOLE game again. SMH brother

I think they expect you to use Galaxy, which will update without redownloading the entire thing.

galaxy is where it is trying to download the entire game again automatically to do the update.
i bought the game, drm or not it would have been nice to apply the patch when it came out without needing to download the entire game again.

Then they expect wrong, because I stopped using galaxy when I realize how bugged it was and I know it's in Beta. But I prefer to use a gaming client when it's not in Beta. Galaxy like to do thinks like download the entry games again when you click update and that mucks up my drives. I like to keep things nice and neat. Galaxy is one big mess all over the place. I uninstalled it a year and ago and they seem to only update that thing once or twice a year. I'm in no mood for that crap. Galaxy needs to be more of a priority to gog, for me to use it. Galaxy has been out for 1.5 years now and still no overlay, the program just seems very stagnant. Hope they get off their asses and make that program into what it could be soon.

Galaxy should be removed altogether.
which also since me and a roommate play coop, plus use the internet for watching amazon and netflix downloading a the whole game again is a chore to find the time to do so. also not everyone has uber internet speeds due to geograpgical locations.
my roomates downloaded finally but now im on a different version so we cant coop until mine finishes because of the version difference. which we would have got 1 download pack to install on both pc's, but due to working different shifts the auto download on their pc was over 3/4ths done so no point in stopping it.

point being today we couldnt play coop because of having to redownload the entire game again to get the patch, and when time is limited at home to play it turns into days and not merely just a few hours due to work schedules and so forth.

its more than just whining about an inconvience or what have you, its just silly to pack a patch this way in general.
we both bought the game individually, and its frustrating when time is limited when something like this could be done right in the 1st place.

we should have just bought it on steam instead, we thought we would give this a try and like all mistakes i wont be doing that again.

You do something wrong.
You don't need to download the game twice on every PC. It's not Steam - GOG version not linked to account by itself. Once downloaded installer can be used unlimited times on unlimited PC's to install the game.
Of course, it's only legal if both of you and your friend bought the game here.
