Hi there,

i'am wondering, if there will be an offline LAN-mode available to play?
At the internet you may find some contradictory statements.

At Co-Optimus they say, that there is only online coop possible.

But at PC-Games (german) they announce, that there will be a LAN-Mode.

Does any of you have some actual and more specific informations? Bc. the possibility of offline coop-play is some highly desired feature at this stunning shooter for me :)

The only thing I could find was a twitter conversation where some asked them the offical Shadow Warrior twitter account and they reponsed with "Online or LANplay, no split screen planned."

No LAN, GOG Galaxy Client required for any kind of multiplayer.

The internet connection is terrible in my area. This game is awesome and was so looking forward to it. We had all our computers together but couldn't figure out how to LAN offline. Hugely disappointing to discover we just can't play it together. Online mode isn't really an option.

Somebody let me know if they find a way.

In the meantime, I'll just be playing solo. Which is great fun, but doesn't feel like I'm getting the full Wang experience.

I'll buy my copies when LAN play is implemented, or when it's bargain-bin-priced. It's so irksome that developers don't future-proof their games with real LAN play (thus significantly reducing its actual value).

Welp, just read on the Steam forums that LAN play is shelved at least for the time being. Sigh. I pre-ordered with the express purpose of being able to do LAN play with my friends.

To the devs: That. Really. Sucks. Seriously. You didn't have to go far to read that most of the people looking forward to this were wanting LAN play. Then you say there's "problems" and it's not going to happen now.

Very disappointed.
