Is there a way to re-bind the keys in this game? I also see an option for mouse-look but I am unsure how to use /toggle it on off. Any help would be much appreciated!

I believe its U to toggle mouse aim on or off.

I don't know how its all setup in the GOG version, but you need to go through the setup.exe (from within DosBox) to get to the control menus and such.

You can also just open up SW.CFG in a text editor and change things in there, carefully.

Ok, I will try and see if I can figure out how to get into it and change it, thanks!

It worked, I went into the CFG file and changed the keys in there and now have the control setup I want. Thanks!

I've modified the SW.cfg file using Notepad, changing the controls to something more modern-feeling.

WASD- Forward, Backward, Strafe-Left, Strafe-Right
LCtrl- Crouch
Space- Jump
Open- Problem

By default, Space is the open key. Before I tinkered with the SW.cfg file, pressing Space caused Wang to Fire. When I changed it to E, it caused Wang to Fire and Open. When I changed it to both E and R, E caused Wang to Fire and Open while R just caused Wang to Open. I removed the E and left the R, however now pressing R causes Wang to Fire and Open.

The simple solution is changing my bindings back to E and R, then using R to Open while keeping my finger away from the E. This is something that still bugs me, as I can't simply bind the key without a problem.

Is there any way around this, to just bind the one key, preferably E, and have Wang simply Open when it's pressed? To be clear, I've made sure that no keys are double-bound, so that isn't an issue. And, just to be clear and add emphasis, the fire-and-open issue existed with the default bindings.
That is really weird. I bind E to use myself and it works just fine. If you really don't have anything else as Fire then its out of my league. I'd suggest at best, delete/backup the cfg file and try over, maybe use setup.exe to avoid any errors.

It seems to me that, somehow, in a past life I cheated on the Goddess of Futuretech with some mere mortal and, as punishment, I am doomed to encounter some really weird issues with tech. XD

I ran the setup_shadow_warrior_complete_2.0.0.7.exe as Administrator when I started it up, seeing that there was a chance for Win7 to deny the Wang. Everything went smoothly and I did not choose to download the FoxIt Reader because I'm fine with Adobe. Everything went really, really smoothly and I'm honestly not sure what could have happened or what would be different if I uninstalled and tried again. I'm going to chalk this one up to 'tech will do what tech wants to, when tech wants to.'

Since R works for me and there is no manual reloading, I'm going to leave this one alone. Thank you for your help, though, it's appreciated. Your initial response to the OP helped me to figure out how to enjoy a game that I loved as a freshman in high school. ^^
To setup controls & graphic settings, simply use the shortcuts in your install directory!
