Hi there the latest update for Shadow Warrior removes the Zilla blade from the game. I hope a new patch comes out soon to correct this, but in the mean time avoid the new patch.

Yeah, my instinct advised me not to install the update as I had the feeling it was going to be removed. Sadly I didn't listen and for no benefit at all.

Wasn't the Zilla blade supposed to be a preorder bonus? Maybe that's why they removed it. Not a huge loss to me, but I'll wait for a more significant patch to update.

It was but steam got the gog preorder bonus. It is dumb at this point because the game has been out for a while just let everyone enjoy all the blades. Also taking it out of players hands is a real disgusting move.

Damn. I always used either the classic katana, or the zilla one. Those two are my favorites! Steam... Damn Steam!

Steam even put Shadow Warrior for sale in christmas holiday for only 6 euros! I still got it here from gog, paying 26 euros, instead! Boycott the thieving bastards, the cheapskates! DRM free and all extra content for free the latter too; nothing beats THIS offer!

Is this katana lost forever now? Damn, guess the classic one from GoG will be my standard choice... I tried the bat and axe, but seemed to me somewhat lame and lacking in movement...

Well no one from the developer has confirmed one way or another if it was meant to be removed or if it will be added back in. We will have to wait and see, or you could try to contact them.

We uploaded a fixed version of the 1.1.1b patch that returns the Zilla blade in its rightful place :)

I emailed flying wiled hog and it was a mistake and unintentional. It is now back where it should be.
