Hi, my game crashes constantly, i can play 2-5 minutes and then it freezes

Specs:

i5 2400 @ 3.10 GHZ
MSI Radeon HD 7970 Lightning Edition
8 GB Ram

I doubt it is hardware related (unless you have a part that is failing or something) and that should be able to run the game fine.

Yep my hardware should fit the game, i hope there will be an update soon... tried to put down the graphic settings but that doesn't worked

Similar hardware to mine and no issues for me.
Got updated drivers?
Not saying what OS you run but if it's win 10 I'd guess on that being the issue. :P

Yep, got the radeon driver updated to the newest version 16.10.1, Direct X, VC Redist and so on. I'm running Win 8.1. Maybe i should reinstall the game...

Hmmm I'm little disappointed, game seems to be fun, I enjoy playing it until... it freezes my PC every 10 minutes.

Is any patch on the way? I don' think it's driver related.
Actually I just freshly reinstalled my Windows just to be sure and the problem still persist.

The game crashes for me at the insane rates. Sometimes at launch, sometimes when I look for online game, but usually after 10-15 minutes of gameplay. Very occasionally I am able to play an hour or so before the crash happens.

My specs are:
i7-3770, RX 480 (16.10.1, tried 16.9.2 with no results), Win 10.

Unfortunately, the update made it worse.

Intel Core i7-2600k @ 3.40 Ghz
GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB
16 GB RAM

No problems here with Shadow Warrior 2. Played the game for 43 hours now and not a single crash 'til now. Which operating system do you have? Win 8? Win 10?

hey man mine was freezing every 10 minutes to giving me a blue scrren of death and a restart but i finally managed to fix it for myself.
If you pre ordered the game you would have the preorder dlc installed with the game like me. I unchecked the preorder dlc box on the gog game page and it ran fine for me after that. Hopefully this helps some other people enjoy this awesome game to.

Here too, but it freezes before I can play (on starting anim, on main menu...wherever it wants).

Sapphire 7870
8GB RAM
Windows 10

I've tested RAM and it's Ok. Installed in several HD's (SSD, HDD...), rolled back to early version, installed version without Galaxy with no results. I'm disappointed because the pas friday I could play without any problem...

As i said in the discussion before, i tried a reinstall, tried to put down the settings, updated the drivers etc. but nothing works....

I'm not an expert but i'm pretty sure it has something to do with Windows 8 and Windows 10 being like cancer when it comes to playing new games without any problems. I've not heard anything bad from people playing the game with Windows 7 installed but I've read a lot of posts on Steam etc. where people are having various problems with this game (and others too) and they all are running on Win 8 or Win 10. That can't be a coincidence imo.
