The problem is the lack of answer from the developers, when asked about the update coming to GOG. At least, ROTT's developers said they couldn't deliver the last update to GOG because it was mainly a steamworks' update. The bad thing with this update is that the developer are totally ignoring us, and (as I predicted) didn't get a response to the message I sent them a couple of days ago.
You could try to message them too, and see if with enough pression, they finally tell us something.

From what I read, thanks to VanishedOne, they might be postponing the update due to criticism, but I find unacceptable they ignore our messages. Another reason I buy on GOG is I can keep different installers for differente versions, so I want the patch to test the x64 build, and if I don't like it, then use the old installer. So, they should give us the update and I feel kind of scamed as a customer.
I email twice Flying Wild Hog and so far no response, please email them here and at shadowwarrior-support@flyingwildhog.com

Maybe if enough people they would actually bother to replay.

It is said here that GOG expects it to be released in a few weeks time, so I suppose we will get the update then. Still, it is outrageous how they treat us customers. Doesn't take a lot of resources to tell the guy managing their social profiles to write "Yes, GOG's on the way"

Thanks! Is the Linux port update is the same as the 1.5 patch? I was under the impression they are two different things.

I suppose they are different builds, but if I rolled out the newest build to my distributor, I would ensure to give them the latest version in all OS's. Although with all this silence policy, I don't know if FWH follows a classic logic... Let's cross fingers xD

Well I asked GOG about the 1.5 patch and they replay to me on the 15th saying currently they didn't receive any word about an update to the GOG version.
Humble have already the DRM free Linux and Mac ports, but still no DX11 64-bit version.
Ah come on! This is a joke now :/

As I previously said, why bother to buy new games from GOG? Might as well stick with Steam and get treated better. GOG don't seem too bothered
Calm down, this is not GoG's fault, developer is stalling. It's not like every developer does that, it just happens from time to time, nothing GoG can do.
FWH is really bad at customer relations.
It took them forever to respond about the DLC for Hard Reset, only after the entire fanbase had exploded into a thousand rumors, armed with pitchforks and foaming at the mouth to tear the back fat from that ugly pig.

^Not good; just a few words is all it takes to prevent that type of thing.

I'm perfectly calm and it's a reasonable question, even more so if there's nothing GOG can do about it

Fuck these developers. Next time, I will get the game at pirate bay. I would have gotten the upgrade much earlier and received the very same customer support.
If they want to support Steam only, I respect that, but don't release the game here. We should start a massive demand for Steam keys, since they seem to have forgotten this build.
I love drm-free, but it is really starting to blow getting the second class treatment buying places outside of Steam. You'd think smaller devs at least wouldn't be such lazy fuckers about it. Postal 2 is behind (by months), Trine EE is behind (by a month~), and this is behind.
