A 64 bit DX11 patch has recently been released by the devs via Steam. Any news when it will come to GOG? Thanks
I would also like to know what's going on
I'm very interested as well. I hope it's soon. Don't want to regret my purchase through GOG instead of Steam.
Same here, would love to play through it once more.
I've read in the geforce forums that the DX11 exe breaks 3D Vision (and there isn't a 3D setting ingame), so I'm not excited about the update anymore :(.

I e-mailed GOG and they said they are waiting on the developer.\

I e-mailed the developer and there's been no response.

Hopefully there is an update within the next month or so and they don't forget all the non-steam distro platforms :/
5 days and still no update? GOG is usually lags behind Steam, but not by this much...

Agreed - pretty shoddy service by GOG

I was actually suggesting that Flying Wild Hog was dragging its feet, but either way we have to wait for the optimisations and bug fixes. Comments on Steam suggest 64bit DX11 runs incredibly well!
Just looked at benchmarks running the game at 4k with maxed settings and they saw a performance increase of about 40% and load times cut to a quarter of their original duration. I also read that there were additional boss encounters added to the game. I really hope we get this update soon. I would love an excuse to play this excellent game again.

I find it pretty hard to believe GOG couldn't give us an update if they really wanted to. Steam being favoured like this makes GOG look distinctly second best. Why bother to buy new games on here in the future? If I was Gog, I'd be quick to put us in the picture and equally quick to put pressure on developers to treat GOG users the same way as Steam
I wrote them. Very politely and understandingly (it's obvious keeping several builds takes time and Steam is the word), but telling them they shouldn't forget about us. I really encourage you to do the same, contacting them here.
Patch discussion in General: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/shadow_warrior_150_patch

Apparently there's some controversy, especially over the amount of bloom.
I e-mailed GOG, and their response was as follows:

Hello

We are waiting for the Developer to provide us with a working version of the update.
Sorry for the inconvenience, please be patient.

Regards
Genoan

GOG.com Support

When it comes down to it they can only push the developer. Its up to the dev to finish the job. If they never get around to it it leaves gamers SOL.

Personally I'm going to wait another few weeks, maybe a month, and find...other options. I bought the game legally, I should have access to the latest patch.

Makes me miss the days you could just download patches direct from a web-site and be done with it.

The good thing is that Shadow Warrior (2013) is neither broken nor anything other than fun as hell to play.

My lone complaint is that the player can't save progress in the Survival mode. When one gets skilled at the game it's all too easy to survive for a hour, then two hours and then have no end in sight but still really want to see how long one can survive. If I've made it three hours and then need to go to sleep then, damn it, I want to be able to have a way to continue my Survival game later. XD
