I was playing it last night without no problems, I fire it up today and for some reason it won't start up
according to GOG Galaxy i have to reinstall it again.

Yes, weird stuff.
For me it only works after fresh boot of computer, turning on my wireless xbox-one gamepad, opening gog galaxy, then start game.
But if you first opened any other program, it hangs on intro movie, pressing escape skips it, but ingame sounds turns off.
I hope they will patch it soon. Nightdive rushed the game release, some other bugs are going to be fixed as well.
On Vulkan API the game runs very smooth.

the game was working last night without no issues and now today, This nonsense
"update failed (E4)
Disk Access error occurred during update"
update...I restarted the computer and the game is good as gold now, What a weird bug with the game.

Sadly, the new patch doesn´t fix the strange game start freeze.
But i´ve finished the game last week. Aside from maybe ten or so crashes in late game, it was a nice game.
Certainly prettier than 21 years ago on PS1!

which just needs a PC restart and then it's good to go
i first place this game on the PS1 too and then later the original PC release which i got from GOG.
