I've read in one of the release news threads here in the forum that someone from the dev team said on Discord that they plan to add achievements with the first patch for the game. Can't confirm if that is true because I'm not on Nightdives Discord Server.

Achievements do exist for this release of the game, I've seen them on Steam

not sure why it's slow for the roll out for the GOG version.

now if you look at the page they removed the part where it said added 30 achievements so maybe we will never get achievements on the GOG version

The achievements are live for the game now

and you shouldn't have to restart the game to unlock them, They starting popping for me as soon as i loaded up my save.

Sadly, not all "achieved" ones unlock when loading a pre-patch save. But for me personally, that´s not a problem.
UPDATE:This is from the patch notes on steam:
"Any achievements that failed to unlock will now be checked at the start of each level. "
I guess it should work this way on gog as well.

I tried this but I still have 11 achievements that should be unlocked but are not.

I had some achievements that still hadn't been unlocked.... Such as opening a Soul gate, unlocking a secret, Find a voodoo weapon and defeat a true form

lucky for me i still had some chances to get those without having to restart the game.
