There are hundreds of game engines out there. Why narrow it down to just two?

In this case, however, you are quite right.

As with Shadow Tactics and Desperados 3, Mimimi Games is using the Unity engine for Shadow Gambit.

That's true but most Indie studios mostly use either of the ones I mentioned. Unreal engine is known to have lots of shader stutter, so that is of some influence. If that answers your question.

Unity games is the CrashHandler! :)))

The latest Unity game that works on my computer is from 2016.
Newer Unity games don't work for me. :-P

They don't work, because it is intended. It is a planned obsolesnce scam.

Worked for me but crashreport is made on exist and wants to be send to "home."

Such abusive practices allowed on GOG.
