Alright so the game originally used the Gamespy matchmaking service to find games for you. The problem is, Gamespy died a few years ago, so the matchmaking service is dead. However, you can patch the game with an unofficial patch that will change the master server location to ostap.

Technically you don't need it, because the functionality is there for direct IP connection, but this makes it easier to find games online.

Either use aforementioned patch or files from Steam version
