I'm getting this annoying glitch in The Second Encounter. When I stop firing the rocket launcher, the front rotating part of the model makes a sudden motion for a split second. This also happened in The First Encounter, but it magically stopped while I was playing once.

Anyone know how to fix this?

It sounds like a well known game bug that shows in gnu/Linux. Maybe your hardware manifest it also in Windows?
I tell you how to workaround it, I think it's worth a try.

Once you started the game once you have to open the configuration file InstallDir/Scripts/PersistentSymbols.ini and fix the following line:

gap_iDepthBits=(INDEX)24;

That didn't help for me, it still keeps flickering. Is it possible you're referring to a different bug?
It was my only idea, sorry.
