I recently downloaded sanitarium. None of the files were corrupted and it installed without a hitch. When I first started the game it could only go a few minutes and then it would crash. I played it in win95 and win98 compatibility mode yet it still crashes. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to actually play this game?

Does it crash in particular points of the game, like right before or after a cinematic, or at random? Have you tried to adjust the performance level (under settings, from the main menu)?

EDIT: If the problem persist, try marking this topic as “question / problem" (or opening a new one and mark it like that), maybe it will get the attention of the GOG team.

Mine crashes at random. I've tried all possible combinations in compatibility mode. I've max-ed and min-ed the in game performance settings.

I can't even get it to run. Just get a black screen then an error message. Tried it in all compatibilty modes and still nothing
