The game is still heavily censored in both the removal of many jokes and the replacement of Bosco's iconic voice actor, replacing him with a lazy, cheap no-name who has never voiced a character before in his life.

Do not buy.

Can you give an example of any jokes that were removed? All reports I've seen say that there were none.

He's probably talking about the previous game.

I haven't found any info that this game was changed in any way.

And yes, some of the "improved jokes" from the first season were quite lame. But they don't really change the game significantly.

censorship is censorship. Not to mention that this is completely wrong. They cut out most every joke that had actual serious edge. It made the entire game all the more toothless. And then there's the revolting Bosco recast
Still not buying, comrades.
Making claims about censorship on this version without proof doesn't help, outrage on its own doesn't provide a sound basis to evaluate purchase decisions. I personally believe that replacing Bosco's voice actor was a mistake too, but is there any hard evidence of script changes/other claims made here about censorship in this version of the game? Season 1 has a clear trail, season 2 haven't seen anything so far.
honestly doesn't matter. The game comes with the original so if it bothers you, much like the 7th Guest anniversary, Id say go for it, download, and play the original.

Yea. The new VA sounded like he doesn't even want to be there. SkunkApe Games would have been better off hiring Mr. T for the role, as that's what the original VA sounded like to me.

Here's an article from NicheGamer published in 2020 that could help. With links to certain topics. Take it with a grain of salt cause at the end of the day, it's the customers choice:

The only other way now is through Xbox stores for the Xbox One and Series X/S for around $10.
