Does the GoG version have the same issues that the Steam version has with gamepads?

If you talk about saints row 2 and 3 for me both work with a controller..Although I use a PS3 controller, insatlled some drivers that recognize the ps3 controller as an xbox 360 controller and launch better ds3 so maybe that is why....But steam and gog version should be the same.so if your gamepad doesn't work with the steam version probably the same thing will happen here.
