I have installed and tested the Steam and GOG versions of Sacrifice and I noticed that you cannot connect to the "Internet" after clicking on "MultiPlayer". They messed up the connection to the server. The official Patch 3 also does not detect installed Sacrifice for Steam or GOG (An error from Steam and GOG). There is a fix for this. All you need to do is install Patch 3.1 (this patch is the official Patch 3 and was made for the purpose of being detected by GOG and Steam, it also offers other features online for enhanced gameplay!)

Install Patch 3.1 in one the following locations depending on what Sacrifice version you are running: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Sacrifice OR C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG\Sacrifice OR C:\Program Files (x86)\Shiny\Sacrifice).

When done run the newly created "Sacrifice" icon on your desktop to play on Multiplayer/Internet (DO NOT run it from Steam as it will not work). Then simply click on "Multiplayer" then on "Internet" then go in the "Arena" room and Ta-Dah there you will see our online community! So let's play games!
