So I bought this game off Ebay today that I used to play back when i was a kid.

It won't even install, every time i double click on it, it says the above error. Have tried safe mode and compatability mode and nothing. Now it even crashes before I get to even click setup.

My OS is Vista, am running an Nvida Geforce 8500, if thats relevant as well.

Can anyone help please? Was really looking forward to playing this :(

I'm using Windows 7 64 bit, and I keep getting the same error message:
"E:\Games\Sacrifice\Sacrifice.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

Can someone help us out here? I have an old copy of it lying around, but I thought that buying this game on gog.com would make it more compatible, at least with my cd copy I get into the game before it starts crashing!

I suspect that given the last user with this problem received no response, there's not going to be anyone here that can help. However, as you said, you bought the GOG game for its compatibility, and your system is a supported set up, so I'd recommend logging a support request.
