I've seen people posting that they were able to use D3DWindower to run Sacrifice in a window, but none of the settings I choose seem to work. The game seems to ignore D3DWindower completely and stays at whatever resolution (in full screen) I have picked. Can anyone help?

Just had the same problem. Can't get D3DWindower to work with it, and I've heard others can. I'm running Win7 64-bit, haven't tested on other systems yet.

Edit: Hidden in a cached page somewhere was the claim that D3DWindower appears to only work on WinXP, so we're out of luck.

That's a shame. Thanks for replying, though.
Download it here @ sac.kicks-ass(.)net/d3dwindower.rar?name=Downloads (remove parentheses)
But it only seems to work on Windows XP.
