I've gotten a flute,lute,and a portal rune, all with a yellow name but with low 500-600g price tags. Lvl 1 requirements also .what are these for? Does anyone know?
[EDIT] They show up in my inventory so i know they're not quest items :)

IIRC there's some use for the portal rune, but I can't swear to it.
The flute/lute are just "loot" items.
Basically pointless wastes of space that early on you can sell, but later on are just annoying because they are worthless. (GP to inventory space ratio is horrible for them late game.)

im lvl 47 right now so yeah theyre wastes of space for me but ill save the portal rune though thx for the answer and for reading the post

Portal Runes can be used on a Portal, but IIRC, Only the portal *near* where you found the rune. This opens up the locked teleport destinations scattered around the map, but you still have to make it on foot or horse first.
The instruments are basically junk, I think there was an intended quest for them once, but it never got implemented. You can try and collect them all as a useless set to show off in multiplayer, but that s about it.

Yup just figured that out while i was doing the "Wilbur" part of the main quest . thx guys for all your help :) but what does IIRC mean(pardon my noobish-ness)
