I have the cd version of SG and can't get past an error about the game not being compatible with Win 64. Does the GOG version remedy this?

Hi,
Yes it's compatible with 64 bit OS's, as stated in the game card under 'compatible with'.
I have Sacred Gold, gog's version, installed on Win7 Ultimate 64bit right now. ;)
