I am currently testing different trainers and so far none of them have worked. If someone find a working trainer please post here.

I really loved the sandbox portion of this game achievable with a trainer.

Thank you!
Didn't Chris Sawyer patch out trainers in the expansion packs? Since this is the deluxe version with Added Attractions and Loopy Landscapes already included then it would appear that no trainer will work. If there was a trainer made for Loopy Landscapes then that *should* work. However, I'm not aware of one.

Trainers are a bit pointless anyway, just learn to play the game properly, you'll get way more enjoyment out of it. If you like I can give you some pointers on things you are stuck on. (I have complete 999 park ratings on all the parks in the game).

There are cheats built into the game anyway, you need to rename guests to get them. I won't post them as they're easily findable on google.

Thanks for educating me about how to play the game. I beat the game 10 years ago and it was great, now my time is more limited therefore I want to get myself a cup of tea and enjoy designing rides. When I feel like a challenge I play Starcraft or Civilization, revisiting roller coaster tycoon is not a challenge for me.

Then you'll want to wait for RCT2 to be brought out on GoG. That has a complete scenario/coaster editor/sandbox mode. Chris Sawyer envisioned RCT as a game first and foremost and not a design tool. Hence the trainers being patched out.

thanks for the informative answer
Turns out I was wrong. I completely forgot about the save game editor that was patched for Loopy Landscapes. This will allow you to have infinite money (in a round about way). Just save your game, edit the save, give yourself 50,000, when you've spent that just give yourself some more.

its actually corrupting saved games :(
You could just finish an Arid Heights scenario and play around with the infinite money there once you've used the front half of the land to build a self-sustaining park.
You can find a whole lot of resources and trainers here:

http://forums.nedesigns.com/index.php?showtopic=7396

But I am afraid that most of the trainers work only with the real LoopyLandscapes version, and specifically the UK/US releases, and probably not with the Deluxe version. But give it a try.

thanks for your input posix, so far I used a presaved game with flat land and 3 000 000$
RCT 2 is a bit better if you want to do something "Sandbox" but I recommend both games as playing the scenarios is a blast in RCT and RCT2.

Hopefully they will release RCT2 very soon but so far Im having a blast. A friend and I were suppose to do some Starcraft II ladders thursday night and we ended up each playing RCT on our own for 7 hours straight. I havent tried the second one but this release has already everything I could ask for.

How is the second installment better for sandboxing?
I found that Dragon's trainer v5 works with Vista 64-bit. I didn't have to install any patches either. Just open RCT then alt-tab and open the trainer. v6 of the trainer doesn't work.

I downloaded mine from here - http://waynerctheadquarters.tripod.com/waynesrcthqdownload.htm

The link above also links to a version of the trainer, but I didn't test that download link - http://www.nedesigns.com/topic/7396/posix-rctll-guide/

EDIT: The trainer must be run with admin permissions, but RCT doesn't need to be run with admin permissions.
