So I am using Windows 7, and I've tried everything everyone else said to do. And I am still getting the white screen. Any suggestions?
This is such a godsend, especially since I started to get corrupted graphics, no thanks to ATi Updating their drivers again! I am so glad to be able to play RCT2 again!
Awesome!! I just tried it on Locomotion. It works there as well. I have the retail version i purchased on CD a decade ago, so I guess it would work on the version sold here on GoG as well.
This makes my game windowed, but the font is completely unreadable. Any ideas as to how to solve it?
This hack has worked great for me, except the cursor problem that some have mentioned. It clicks about 1 inch above where my cursor actually is. I went into the ddhack.ini file, but there is nothing about a yoffset variable. Do I have to add it myself? If so, how should that be formatted?

Have you seen post 57? Remove dll, set the resolution you want to have windowed, exit, add hack again. This works for me, no ini entries required.
Thanks for the response! I hadn't seen that post. I tried it though, and now the click is about .5 inches below where the cursor actually is :/ Tricky bugger!
I'm just gonna test something here, ignore this please.

Ah I see, I somehow can't create new forum topics but I can reply to existing threads..

Try running the Borderless Gaming app (on github) alongside the windowed mode. Seemed to do the trick for me.
Awesome! Only annoying thing is it wont fit my 1920x1080 screen. If someone knows a fix please tell! Otherwise I'll have to get used to it.

EDIT: Only made this account to ask this question. Great mod! I'm UK not US...

This is awesome! However there there is a security update for windows 8.1(KB2973201) that messes up the free movement(right click drag) in the game. Have no idea why:/ It may be just on my pc tho.

edit: think i found two other updates that also causes mouse issues.

Does anyone have similar problems?

Working well. However is it possible to scale the graphics like it does when going to fullscreen?

The reason is that all well and good having it windowed but everything appears really small and hard to see.
Hello,

I have a slight issue with the hack. I'm using XP SP2 and, for some reason, if I apply the hack, all I get is an empty window with sound. I can click on it, it seems to work fine, but I get no graphics. Not even a black screen inside the window. Does anyone have any clue what might cause this? Is it the OS? Should I get some DLLs?

Thank you very much!
This works, but if I change the resolution to bigger, the cursor doesn't actually where it is on the screen. Like, I have to click on things below where the actual cursor is to be able to click on them.
OP said to edit the .ini file and change the yoffset, but I opened the ini file and there is no yoffset here. There are only 3 options - softcursor, mouseclipping, and earlyresize.

Anyone else have same problem?
