So I recently transferred from a mac to a Surface Pro 3 so I'm not that familiar with the Windows operating system. But I was wondering, how can I load custom designed tracks posted on the web, onto GOG's Rollercoaster Tycoon? Can anyone give a detailed explanation of how I do this? Or is it just not possible with the Rollercoaster Tycoon downloaded from GOG

Thanks.

Hi !
If you're talking about the first RCT, simply put the track in your game's installation folder : "C:\GOG Games\RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe\Tracks". The tracks must be unzipped if they were into a .zip file (or a .rar file) : you should have only .TD4 and .TP4 files in your folder.
Some tracks are using only one .TD4 file, some others uses .TD4 and a .TP4 file.
When you have put the files of the tracks you wanted to add in the game, launch the game, and try to build the track you want like any other track who where pre-made in the game.
If you need more help steps, just ask I'll do my best :)

But here is a summary :
1) download your track
2) if it is into an archive, unzip/extract the files
3) put these files into the folder "C:\GOG Games\RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe\Tracks"
4) launch the game and load the track design like you would have with any others already provided with the game.

For RCT 2, I don't remember exactly, but it should be very similar.
For RCT 3, you can take a look here for exemple, or I could try to explain too if you want !

Okay !
If you're on windows, you won't need any command prompt. On which windows are you ?
And can you send me a link to a track you would like to instal ?
