ciomalau: right now i'm lvl 13 i can kill a ghoul 1 on 1, kill 3 skeletons at a time etc. but when i was noob i remember that i was on a beach looking for mussels.. don't remember which one but it must be one of the 3 in the picture attached. and i found a cave with a chest (i didn't even have open lock talent) and skeleton warriors which killed me in 1 hit at the time. i don't remember how i got to that cave, what i know for sure is that i was in the encircled area on the map - that's for sure. and i tried all beaches looking for caves which could lead me back but i can't find it? also the road couldn't be very long either so maybe it's right there on beach 2.

Empathia: Are items found in chests random or fixed?

I really need a nautilus scroll to be able to complete a quest where I need to reach the Alchemist.
Unfortunately, I only had one & used it to access the other room that needed it.

I have toured the island best I can for my lvl - Looted all chests that I was able to open - gone back to all merchants over & over again - they never seem to have anything new.

So now I'm stuck & can't graduate from the monastery - it's most frustrating.

Even though I don't usually use them, I even looked up cheats to try & get this scroll, but they won't work for me either.
I'm a golden oldie & not at all tech savvy, like I need to ask a 5 yr old how to work most techy things :)

I guess I must be doing something wrong :(

Another thing that annoyed me, is the guy in the bandit camp that teaches lockpick - every time he saw me coming he laid down by the fire to sleep & just said 'I'm trying to sleep'. Any time of the day or night he did this - & that was before I joined the opposition & was technically still helping the Don. Now I can't find anyone to teach me lockpicking to lvl 3. Am I missing something?

SCPM: Items in chests are fixed and not random. You ought to be able to buy Nautilus transformation scrolls from Ilumar in the monastery or Cormac at the bandit camp (from Chapter 2 on). Patty, on the beach outside town can teach you lockpicking to level 3 as well (also from Chapter 2 on). Quests from Ilumar and his students should also be able to help you create your own Nautilus Transformation scrolls, if you're aligned with them.

Empathia: Am now stuck trying to find the final chest for Patty - on the quest map it shows just west of the volcano - but walkthroughs I've looked at say you need to go East & jump off a cliff - I can't sort it out - have tried to get near to the place it shows on quest map, but just end up running round in circles
