When I try to start it simply nothing happens. I've already tried running it as admin / in compatibility mode, turning off user account control and installing it on a different pc. any ideas?

when i installed it on my work computer with gog galaxy, this game just instantly crash on launch.
Altering config through the config_en.exe or any windows settings (xp compatibility) didn't fix anything.

Installing the game with the installer from gog website, without gog galaxy, worked though.

I can second this. I owned the game for at least six months and it would never launch. Support told me to update some bizarre Windows file which sounded dangerous (and not worth it) so I never tried. Finally noticed this post and installed without GOG Galaxy, and the game starts and plays perfectly. The Play option even appears in Galaxy and I can launch without an issue.

I can conform that is works. unistall the game and downlaod the game file install with out using GOG galaxy and the game works.

Anyway of fixing this issue so it works with GOG Galaxy? I get the same issue that when I click on the "Play" button in galaxy, nothing happens.
