I bought it from game's website with DRM-free+GOG code option . Later I saw when I downloaded game in the main menu GOG.com Version text . Is there something special for GOG here ?

I played the GOG version of the game all the way through and I can tell you that the GOG.com version text is there to simply designate that this is the GOG.com version of the game.

I downloaded the GOG.com version of Retro City Rampage and as I launched it, it came up with a brown tinge on the screen that was there throughout the game. It was a bit uncomfortable playing as the colours became hard to differentiate and therefore made it hard to look at the screen.

I thought it was part of the retro aspect so I ignored it. But then I saw on other versions of the game that this brown colouring was not there and so I got the Steam version of the game which also came with the DRM-free version (paid again for this version) and found that the brown tinge was not on this version and so I thought it must be only found on the GOG.com version.

Could you please let me know if it supposed to be there or is it a colour palette error?

I've a attached a photo comparison of both the GOG.com version and the Steam version.

NB. The DRM-free version is the same as the Steam version (i.e. no brown colour tinge)

Have you gone into the settings and checked the screen emulation modes?
I've tried the different emulation modes and settings and changed the colour modes as well but it only changes the colour completely when set to "PC DOS CGA B" mode but again it is different from the Steam version.

I've attached a couple of comparisons of those colour modes from both versions:

The first screenshot is from the GOG.com version and the second is from the Steam version

Yeah, that's wrong. Have you tried contacting support?

I've told them about the issue so hope to hear from them soon
We should have an updated version that fixes this problem out tomorrow :)
