Quick question all.

I finished the parts of the other three people and i"m where you play as the journalist disguised as a mechanic. I got rid of the secretary and I understand that I must reset EGOLDBERG's password on the computer. However, I'm supposed to guess the first three letters of his first name and I have absolutely no luck so far...am I missing something? His password should be EXXGOL but as many names as I've tried, nothing works!

A bit of help?

There's both an ajones and an egoldberg. It's randomly generated when you start a new game (so you don't instantly know who to log in as.)

It's not just a guessing game, though. Log into the computer as egoldberg and you'll find his name. His password is more complicated than Emma's, but you can still get it the same way. Of the three passwords I found, though, they are some of the most common passwords around. (I'm surprised there isn't a 12345 yet.)

Look at the top of the screen when you log into egoldberg's account.

Many thanks to all, I managed to solve it.

I was in fact a bit confused by the two terminals...I thought I had to log in with egoldberg's credentials on the far-right terminal instead of the "normal" computer on the desk.

If this game had been released during the 90's it'd probably be hailed as one of the "Golden Oldies" now. Looking forward to full release!

I'm also stuck on the Repairman section.

I've got rid of Emma the secretary, but glass door to the mainframe is still blocking the way. I know I need to get into the terminal, but I don't know any passwords for this.

I can access emails on computer on the desk, but only for 2 people - "ewalters" and "dhill". All other names I try are coming up as "invalid User".

Any help please?

dhill has priviledge to access the panel, right? Maybe you can learn his username and password somehow...

Well, he obviously doesn't remember it. If only there was some way to recover lost passwords... (check /help on the terminal)

Ahhh, thankyou! I tried Help before, but it didn't work... cos I missed the / at the start.. *feels stupid, lol*

I just reset the password of Dr. A. Patterson but the mainframe terminal doesn't accept it. Login and password are in the smartphone so it should work I guess. Bug?

Edit: Apparently yes, looaded the autosave, got a different pass and that one worked.
