After defeating Tyrant, on GOG version Tyrant is like pitch black, while on PS1 version he has some textures.

Are the textures missing on GOG version? Is it possible to improve it?

That's just what it always looked on PC due to how this version handles recoloring of limbs. There are other similar instances and a lot more fine details either approximated or missing (like the Tyrant constantly grinning his teeth).

One question about the files extension in USA folder like: *.tim, *.pix, *.dor etc, are they exclusive extensions for RE? I tried to find viewer / editor for those files and that's so hard.

Do you happen to know anything about this?

The shotgun that Chris is holding has been colored correctly instead of being to dark like from the old PC versions and on PS1 versions.

This is one instance where I think the PC version is better. He just got blown up by a RPG. He should be burnt to a crisp lol

LOL, I gotcha, but I still think it is too dark that it looks like models without any textures on.

Besides TIM, all those are custom formats.

Have you tried the site Classic Resident Evil Modification? I just found it the other day and it hosts a collection of modding tools for the ohgees. There are .pix viewers and converters there, but only made to work with certain files.
