Awesome! Thank you GOG! :) Just before September 28th

Hi, after today's update the game won't start anymore... what can I do? I already uninstalled and reinstalled it, but nothing changes. It goes crazy and keeps opening and closing.

Edit. I solved it by starting the game with the default graphics settings instead of the ones I had set (1080p and 60 fps). That works but it seems less stable than before.

Wow, that was quick. Awesome. I guess I'll be playing RE3 this weekend after all.

Hopefully in the next update, you can try to un-censor the rest of the violence during gameplay, please?

1. Uncensored: The zombie's head flies and rolls off after being kicked by Jill.

2. Uncensored: The zombie's head no longer stays attached after being stomped on by male characters.

3. Uncensored: Zombie's head falls off after being decapitated by the Hunter in the hospital.

4. Uncensored: Your character's head gets cut off completely after being decapitated by the hunter.

Everything looks good in the new build, at least from my super quick check.

That said, I would suggest changing the default internal resolution (the one you set in the F1 menu) to 640x480, as opposed to 1024x768. That way, it'll play nicely with integer scaling out of the box.

And really, everyone should be doing integer scale with an old game like this.

how about fixing the controller binding issues? can't get my wireless Xbox series controller to work with it. controller key bind options don't pop up, they act like they are disabled. I can rebind the keyboard just fine.

Are you trying to customize button layout or simply getting it to work? if its getting it to work make sure its connected/on before turning the game on

The 1.0 Hotfix version works as intended on my end when I set "Presentation" to Set by application (Default) or Fullscreen.

ok i figured out the issue. i have the game listed in my steam list, so when i try to launch it from steam it will not register the controller. if i launch it from the gog launcher, it works just fine. so the issue is related to steam not the game.

The game is crashing like crazy - tried almost all of the gog suggestions - and the cinematics turn to black screen while audio and game play are still on! Anyone with the same problems?

Even with the update, it still gives me a black screen. I suspect it's my HDR display that is not compatible with RE3 GOG.

Apparently it's a bug that they haven't fixed, because this kind of problem only occurs with the GOG version and not with the others (Original and Xplosiv)
