I just bought the trilogy bundle and I'm wondering about the release month of the RE2 and 3. I thought that they could launch in this month of July, but based in some comments that ain't gonna happen.

All I know is that Sphere Hunter said she played an iteration of the 2nd one already and showed some tidbits of it like the launcher menu. But other than that nothing, and even less on the 3rd one. I cant imagine it would take too much time before we get the 2nd one though

I am also very curious about when these are going to drop. Everyday I wake up and launch GOG Galaxy and then click on Re2 to see if I can install it lol., I finally beat the original Resident Evil a few days ago and freaking loved it, what a wonderful game. I have tons of experience with most of the games minus the classic style ones as well as I have never completed revelations 1 or 2. Needless to say I am excited to finally get to experience 2 and 3 in the way I want and I am so happy gog is re releasing these wonderful games I had never given the time of day because I was to stubborn to play them anyway other than owning and launching them from my library. If you or anyone else gets an inkling of when Re2 and 3 may launch then please do spread the news, I personally think 2 will release within a months time of Re1 since Sphere Hunter has already played it and it seems a lot of work has already been done, hopefully three wont be much further behind that :)

If you never played RE2 and RE3 you will have an absolute blast. They are much better than RE1. When I replayed RE1 now, this is the first time I ever completed it myself, and as much as I enjoyed it, and have nostalgia with it, the entire time I was thinking how big of an improvement the RE1 remake is in every way. If you never played the RE1 remake, you should absolutely play that too. On the other hand RE3 original is much better than the remake.

Resident Evil 2 is excellent indeed. Resident Evil 3, I have mixed memories... I remember it to be quite hard, but, my memory is 25 years old.

Gotta hand it to Resident Evil 1 as well though. It's a great game too. Not so fond of the remake. It's too hard in my opinion.

Neither RE3 and the RE1 remake are that hard. I beat the RE1 remake on both Hard and Real Survival. If you want to play a hard Resident Evil, play Zero.

More like "September 28th, daylight".

I read somewhere on this forum people were speculating that the 3rd one would release around Halloween (Oct. 31st) (Not official) I could easily see that happening. Right now I'm thinking sometime in August for the 2nd and around Halloween for the 3rd. (Just my guesses)

I really think halloween will be an important day, maybe the trilogy will be completed by that time, but it will have some importance for the launch of the remaining games...

re2's og release date was on January 21, 1998
and 3 was on September 22, 1999
