I am having an issue where I have installed OG Resident Evil that I purchased through GOG, installed the game from the GOG launcher. Set the language to JPN and updated the BIOHAZARD launcher, the .dll, movie, sound, voices, and added DC.exe and DS.exe.. I set the default launcher to the DC.exe.
I was able to launch the game successfully a couple of times but the game was not registering any inputs from my xbox one controller, ps5 controller, or my K&M.
Reinstalled the game, got to the point that I installed just the base game, installed the JPN language support, launched the base game and everything works fine, inputs, menu navigation, etc.. but after I repeat the installation process of Classic Rebirth the game would launch then automatically close.
Anyone else having this issue as well?

i'm having the game straight up not open when i click the play button. classic rebirth and the usa version of the game

I had to reinstall rebirth when they updated the installer. But I'm also using DGvoodoo so maybe that makes a difference but its working for me.
Also Commander: rebirth wont work on USA version only Japanese, unless I'm mistaken.

maxpacker: I had to reinstall rebirth when they updated the installer. But I'm also using DGvoodoo so maybe that makes a difference but its working for me.

i never mentioned anything about trying to use rebirth with a usa version

I'll have to try using DGvoodoo, I've tried downloading the files using two different browsers so I don't think it's due to file corruption.

Fortunately I still am able to run the base edition, USA but really I got it for the mods lol

mine gives me a weird error when i try to rename it to re_ddraw.dll

usa version for me just flat out doesnt open. only the japanese version works for me. so the mods and the vanilla usa just flat out arent opening

anyone got any luck making rebirth work with and intel HD IGPU? the vanilla game works fine but as soon as i install the rebirth mod it closes after the first intro movie, tried with the mediakite version and the same thing happens.

hola buenas tardes grupo, mi problema es el siguiente: instale la version del resident evil 1 de GOG con la version HD MOD, pero al momento de ingresar a mi inventarario el cursor cubre el objeto que seleccionado y no me deja ver que objetos estoy escogiendo, alguien sabe como salucionar este problema? adjunte una imagen para que puedan ver el problema.
