Hello? I noticed that the other 3 demonstration videos of the GOG version of Resident Evil (1996) were missing in all language versions.

1. Jill fends off against the sharks, but was eaten alive by Neptune.

2. Chris fending off against the zombies, but was killed and eaten by them.

3. Jill firing off her Uzi.

Is there a way to fix it by putting them back? Please, let me know.

Probably something that's exclusive to the 1997 Director's Cut version? Which, if I understand correctly was never ported to PC.

No. It wasn't exclusive to the Director's Cut version on PS1. The original uncut PC version released as a CD-ROM in 1997 had those other three demonstration videos, something that was missing in the GOG version. It could be a bug that's preventing the GOG version from playing the other three demonstration videos that were inside the folder already or something. I don't know. I hope the GOG team can fix this soon.

I don't think that GOG will fix that. They will only fix issues that prevent the game to work properly.

I see.
I gotta mention.. There are third party efforts to keep these games alive. There has been for YEARS. I'll guaranty you that you can find those movies, in HD even, and drop them in your folder and they'll work.

-IF- GoG didn't block them or something on purpose.
I think there are more important and pressing things than the stuff mentioned here. Like... releasing RE2 and RE3...

Which they will release once it meets their standards.
My uneducated guess is that they used Resident Evil to see the reaction from the user.
If it was all praise, then they would have release asap. I guess they are doing further testing to avoid any negative review, with valid points. Like it working like a mess to amd users.
I highly doubt that professionals work like that.

There are many but many companies even big ones that work like that. Send the product now, let's see the reviews and fix any possible bug later.

Also by the look of some bugs the QC was quite limited. The bug on AMD was quite annoying and hard to miss, let me reminder you that AMD has close to 35% of the market share of CPU. So is not like AMD cpus are some dark underground product that not everyone uses.
@Wild.Dog Do you think GOG will fix the bug issue by bringing back the other three demonstration videos on all the uncut language versions of Resident Evil (1996)?

1. Chris checking out in the room where he almost took a 1st Floor Map (The first demonstration video is still shown repeatedly, while the other ones didn't show up)

2. Jill fends off against the sharks but was eaten alive by Neptune. (Not shown yet.)

3. Chris fending off against the zombies but was killed and eaten by them. (Not shown yet.)

4. Jill firing off her Uzi. (Not shown yet.)

What do you think?
