I tried to use the first zombie movie from the remake, I converted it using FFMPEG, but the game doesn't recognize it.

Does anybody know why the game doesn't recognize this file?

Find it below:

Normal quality: 640x480
https://www.mediafire.com/file/urv1d5edadi9sb9/dm3.avi/file

Better quality: 1920x1440
https://www.mediafire.com/file/p7nylu84tw41jcz/dm3_better.avi/file

Important: make a backup of the file "dm3.avi" before using this!

What the heck is wrong with these people?

Wouldn't it be easier to just play the Remake instead? I just don't get it. Why would anyone want to do that?

Anyways, if you really want to do that, you should probably consider the following:

The replacing video length must be the same as the old one, most likely...
And the codecs for both video and audio should match as well.

There are billions of people in this world and they have different desires that may not be aligned with what you think is right.

There is no wrong or right in this.

It's so absurd to make a comparison like that that I'm going to stop here before I get stressed.

I didn't say it was right nor wrong. And I've told you what you should consider to get it working.

I hope you can get it done and be happy with your "ultra realistic" cinematic video in a 1996 video game.

Best of luck
