Game doesn't boot and crashes immediately

Are you on Windows or on Linux?

If you are on Linux, have you tried installing it using Lutris' install script?

Are you using AMD GPU and have MSIAfterburner running? If yes, try closing the MSIAfterburner before launching the game.

I use RX 7800XT and I was leaving MSIAfterburner running. The game crashed immediately on me.

After closing MSIAfterburner and relanuching the game, the game then works fine for me.

I'm having the same issue. Im on an Nvidia card tho, a RTX 4070 ti card specifically. I figured I would try the Classic Rebirth patch to get it running, and it actually did get me a bit further, but only to the end of the intro movie, right as the title screen starts to load in, it just freezes and crashes. I cant find any fix anywhere.

UPDATE: Someone on Reddit told me to verify the game files and I got it working! It completely uninstalled the classic Rebirth stuff but its running! Try doing that through the GOG galaxy launcher for the game and it should work!
