I hope people take to this title like I did back when.
I am currently enjoying it very much at the moment. The interface is rather clunky and the tutorials are useless but the manual isn't too bad. It is a tough game to get into but it isn't as tough as some other games I have played at least I have a clue what I am doing.
I still have the disk of this game laying around. Perfectly stored so I know where to find it. Its indeed a great game but the learning curve is steep.......I never managed to beat the game. But still enjoyed it very much. Might have to give it a go again sometime soon.
I Bought this Game several years ago for around ten euro but while playing it I never knew what I had to do, why I had to do it or often even (even with printed manual) how I have to do something.
So I got annoyed really fast of this game.
now if we can just get chaos overlords (which was broken when i last moved) then my "fantastic old strategy games no one ever played" collection will be complete :)

How about you post the titles of your list, might be interesting :)

if i remember ill hit my "shelf of games that time forgot" and put together some kind of strategy list... although off the top of my head i can think of a few that i can almost guarantee nearly no one has heard of... chaos overlords as previously mentioned, and millenium: altered destiny. millenium has the dubious distinction of being the flat-out weirdest game i have ever played.
Wasnt millenium the game where you seeded 4 Species onto planets and traveled through time to make descisions. In the end theese species helped you fighting the foe?
Enjoyed this first time round, though only completed it using the Crime/Force path.
Looking forward to playing again using the other routes. A simple game at heart, but excellent visuals make it engrossing.

thats the one... a truly fascinating idea, but hard to pull off... definitely mind-bending...
