When loading the game it tells me to press any button to continue, however when I do that the game crashes.

I'm using Windows 7

FIXED: Disable "GalaxyCommunication" in system configuration (under services). Thanks to @Hexafluoraceton

I have the same problem with win 10
I have it crashed on double click game launch with "crash on rfg.exe". Windows 8.1 Home edition Rus. Gladly i have Red Faction Guerrilla upgraded to Re-Mars-tered edition on steam, will go check if it works there.
I am having this problem with Windows 10 as well
Having issues too, hopefully the Red Faction devs and GOG can get this fixed. really want to play this game through GOG.
@Spifferino
Same here, bought it through GOG because I didn't want to give Valve any more of my money. Help me out, GOG!.
I'm having the same problem. Was really looking forward to my first purchase on GOG but not being able to launch the game really blows. I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem though. Hopefully they can get word to the devs and fix it soon!

@JoelarEclipse
This the first problem I ever had with a game on GOG so don't worry too much about it, just bad luck.
i have the same problem
You guys might not like this, but I'm using Windows 10 and have no problems with the game.

In other words, it's not an issue with the OS you're using.
Perhaps you could try to share some more info about your setup. For all we know, it could be hardware related.

So I'll just list the specs where Guerilla does work:

Windows 10 (English version)

i7 6700K (IGP disabled)
32 GB RAM
GTX 1080

2 monitor setup; game running only on 1 of them.

Game installed via GoG Galaxy in default location on C drive. Default settings (in-game overlay, auto-updates, cloud saves, no command line).

Hopefully this'll help you guys determine what might be causing the crash. For all we know, it could be something as trivial as installing the game on D drive or something...

Hmm, iam using:

Windows 10 (64Bit) German Version

i7 4770K @ 4Ghz
16 GB DDR3 Ram
GTX980

Iam using 2 Monitors too, but the game crashes when i try to lunch the main manu.

The only difference between you and me is, that iam not using my OS drive (C) for lunching the game.
GOG Galaxy is located on my D drive.

Edit: I reinstalled the game, reinstalled DirecX drivers, my GPU drivers are up to date and I disabled nVidia "Share" in the Geforce Experiance - nothting works :(
