s1drano: You guys might not like this, but I'm using Windows 10 and have no problems with the game.
In other words, it's not an issue with the OS you're using.
Perhaps you could try to share some more info about your setup. For all we know, it could be hardware related.
So I'll just list the specs where Guerilla does work:
Windows 10 (English version)
i7 6700K (IGP disabled)
32 GB RAM
GTX 1080
2 monitor setup; game running only on 1 of them.
Game installed via GoG Galaxy in default location on C drive. Default settings (in-game overlay, auto-updates, cloud saves, no command line).
Hopefully this'll help you guys determine what might be causing the crash. For all we know, it could be something as trivial as installing the game on D drive or something...
At least I have two questions: In other words, it's not an issue with the OS you're using.

1. What does IGP mean - sorry iam a german potatoe ^^
2. maybe we need to check our BIOS settings. Someting (Intel related options) needs to be disabled?
Any Idea?
Togehter we will find a way to run the game! We know it is possible! :)

SpokkelsTheWitch: "Integrated Graphics Processor" It's like a build in graphics card in your processor, which in some cases may cause conflicts because the game doesn't know which graphic unit to choose or something. (im no expert) 1. What does IGP mean - sorry iam a german potatoe ^^

Now i contected the THQ support. When they answered me ill give you feedback.
According to some dev guy they're aware and looking into it, but I feel like it'll probably take a time Now i contected the THQ support. When they answered me ill give you feedback.
"Please note that we(devs) are aware of the problem. It seems rather random and has nothing to do with bios or other settings.
However, the problem is within a library the devs have no control over so we have to wait for a solution from the vendor who are aware as well."

i contacted the GOG support and they suggested me a solution that actually works. They told me to try a clean boot (disable all autostart programs and services) and it worked for me. The only downside is that i have no sound due to the lack of any sound driver.
press the windows button and search for "system configuration". Then go to services. Uncheck the box "hide all microsoft services" and click on disable all.
The second step is to open the task manager and go to autostart. Click on every programm and disable it in the bottom right corner.
Then restart your computer

Furthermore I figuered out that you only have to disable the service "GalaxyCommunication" in order to get the game running.

Are the crashes still occurring with the recently released patch? Was anyone able to get the game to work in Windows 7?
